As you make your choice from the print options below, there are a few points to keep in mind regarding quality. The Fine Art and Fiber-Based papers display an excellent tonal range, generally tend to be thicker, heavier and more durable and provide greater archival longevity. The Photographic and Giclee RC papers are more of a medium-weight, and produce an image with a very good tonal range. Though providing substantial archival properties, RC type papers are not intended for maximum archival longevity.
YOUR OPTIONS
GICLEE (DIGITAL) refers to museum or gallery-quality fine art prints generated from high-resolution digital scans, and utilizing continuous-tone, large-format, high-resolution inkjet printers, in conjunction with very long-lasting pigment-based archival inks. A giclee image can be printed onto any number of mediums and can produce incredibly detailed prints virtually identical to the original.
The two main categories of mediums used to produce Giclees are:
- RC (RESIN-COATED) digital paper provides very good image quality and has an appearance and texture very similar to a traditional photographic print.
- FINE ART digital paper is thicker and heavier than RC and produces an image exhibiting an excellent tonal range with rich, deep darks and finely nuanced light tones. These papers comprise the highest qualities of archival papers and can be composed of base materials ranging from cotton rag and canvas to sugar cane and bamboo.
PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES are hand printed and processed using a traditional negative onto light-sensitive papers.
The two major groups of papers used to print photographs are:
- RC (RESIN-COATED) photographic paper is of a medium-weight with a polyethylene resin base, and produces a very good quality image with an impressive tonal range.
- FIBER-BASED photographic paper is a premium double-weight museum/gallery grade 100% archival cotton medium that produces an image with warmer, richer, deeper and more saturated tonality, while providing superior durability and longevity.

Adding images to your lightbox
- To add an image to your lightbox, go to the Portfolio, click an image, click to view "PRICING & PRINT OPTIONS", and then click the "Add to Lightbox" button.
Arranging your lightbox
- To enable the moving/resizing of images, click the Move/Resize button "ON". Reposition an image by dragging it, and resize an image by dragging any corner of it.
- To view lightbox images with a simple centered layout, click the Move/Resize button "OFF".
- To delete an image, drag it into the Trash.
Saving your lightbox
- Your lightbox is saved using a browser cookie, so it will be here next time you visit, as long as you don't delete your cookies.
